M/V SAGINAW - January 2004

This is the M/V SAGINAW. She is unloading coal into a hopper at Algma Steel in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. This type of vessel is what is called a Self-unloader. There is a conveyer system under the cargo holds which carry the cargo to the seen boom. It is a very efficient system of unloading select bulk cargos. lowerlakes@kwic.com
